CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Journeyman Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to serve on the - Deployable GATES (DGATES)/ Remote GATES (RGATES) System Support Team. The Journeyman Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester will support users in a critical transportation logistics system for the DoD.
They will be the public face of IT to internal and external customers to ensure end user experience surpasses expectations.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Possessing and applying expertise in evaluating, recommending, and implementing automated test tools and strategies.
- Designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to identify software problems and their causes and ensure requirements are met.
- Developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated and manual test scripts and architectures for application products.
- Writing, implementing, and reporting status for system test cases for testing.
- Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports.
- Participating in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
- Assisting with software manual creation and maintenance.
- Possessing GATES (Global Air Transportation Execution System) Passenger Processing experience as the primary qualification for this position.
- Serving primarily in a testing capacity, with responsibility for executing and documenting test activities related to GATES functionality.
- Contributing to the functional analysis of Trouble Tickets to support issue identification and resolution.
- Supporting requirements description and definition activities related to GATES Passenger Processing functionality.
Expected salary range: $60,000 - $72,000
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work in confined areas.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:
- 0-10% / Minimal travel.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree//OR//6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process.

- Must have one of the following certifications: Comp TIA Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+ **, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
- Experience working in a help desk environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong documentation skills and demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID. Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active Secret security clearance.
- Experience in a Department of War environment.
- Working knowledge of Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES).
