Celebration Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Institute is a regional resource for joint replacement, trauma, orthopedics, sports medicine, and spine care serving patients from across Central Florida. The practice features highly specialized orthopedic surgeons with advanced fellowship training and expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques.
Services include comprehensive care for fractures, orthopedic trauma, and joint pain, with procedures such as hip, knee, shoulder, foot and ankle, hand, wrist, elbow, and rotator cuff surgeries, often performed in ambulatory surgery centers for same-day recovery at home.
Through its multidisciplinary partner Spine Group Orlando, the institute provides both surgical and non-surgical treatment for back and neck pain and scoliosis, including complex cases referred from across Florida and Mexico.
The team also focuses on work-related injuries, coordinating closely with workers, employers, insurance adjusters, and case managers to deliver prompt appointments, accurate diagnoses, and appropriate treatment plans.
Role Description
The Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Celebration, FL, providing evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic, sports-related, and spine conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, and educating patients on injury prevention and recovery strategies.
The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and other clinical staff to coordinate care and support post-operative rehabilitation. Additional duties include documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, communicating with employers and case managers for work-related injuries, and promoting a safe, supportive clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Medicine and Patient Care, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary orthopedic and spine care setting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Home Care and patient education, supporting recovery and adherence to treatment plans outside the clinic.
- Active state license (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
- Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or post-surgical rehabilitation strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
