About this role
Title: Regional Logistics Network Manager
Department: Network Operations
Position Status: Full Time
Shift Schedule: Day
Location: Middle River, MD/ Travel (up to 50%)
Exempt Status: Exempt Salary
Ready to lead the leaders who keep a national final mile network running at its best?
At CDS Logistics, we don’t just manage deliveries, we build and optimize high-performing final mile networks across the country. With over 1 million deliveries annually and a growing national footprint, we’re looking for a field-based operations leader to own the performance of a growing region of our Certified Delivery Partner (CDP) network and the team that supports it.
This isn’t a sit-behind-the-desk role. This is for someone who:
- Builds leaders, not just results
- Thrives in the field and knows the operation firsthand
- Influences independent business owners without direct authority
- Turns data into decisions and root causes into lasting fixes
- Holds a high bar on safety, service, and accountability
If you’re energized by developing people, solving operational problems at scale, and owning a region’s results, this is your lane.
A Quick Snapshot of the Role
As a Regional Logistics Network Manager, you will lead a team of Territory Network Managers and oversee a regional network of approximately 15–20 Certified Delivery Partners providing final-mile delivery of large, bulky products.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, service quality, customer satisfaction, safety, and cost performance across the region by developing a high-performing field team, building strong relationships with delivery partners and customers, and leading continuous improvement to uphold CDS standards.
One week you might be:
- In the field with a Territory Network Manager, running a Gemba walk and coaching through a corrective action plan
- Leading a quarterly business review with a CDP owner to set performance goals
- Digging into regional P&L, partner pay, and productivity data to decide where to act
- Partnering with a key customer contact to resolve a service issue fast
- Giving leadership a clear read-out on regional performance, risks, and wins
Location & Travel
- Working out of CDS Home Office when not traveling: 1225 Bengies Rd, Middle River MD 21220
- Significant travel throughout assigned territory (~50% travel on average)
- Travel to your designated airport is considered your normal commute and is not reimbursable
- All other business-related travel expenses are covered, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and meals
