Senior Account Manager / Business Development

Expected first-year total compensation: $65,000–$75,000, including commission.

We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who knows the Springfield market and can help grow our business from the start.

You should have relevant local sales experience, established relationships or a clear track record of developing business with contractors, builders, remodelers, designers or similar customers. Flooring knowledge is helpful, but experience in a related industry can transfer well.

You’ll develop new accounts, reconnect with past customers and grow repeat business. This is a hands-on sales role working with our showroom team.

What you’ll do:

• Find and connect with trade professionals throughout the Springfield market.
• Make prospecting calls, arrange meetings and follow up consistently.
• Learn customers’ businesses and earn their next project.
• Prepare quotes, close sales and keep projects moving with the showroom team.
• Develop repeat business while paying attention to pricing and profitability.
• Keep account information, conversations and next steps current in the CRM.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven sales experience in the Springfield market that transfers to this role.
• Evidence of business you personally won, developed and retained.
• Confidence reaching out to new prospects and asking for the sale.
• Strong follow-through, organization and communication.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to growth immediately.

Compensation

Expected first-year total compensation is $65,000–$75,000, including a significant commission component. The compensation structure will reflect relevant experience and demonstrated ability.
