js Microservices, React. js, AWS Serverless Technologies, and Cloud-Native Application Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, designing scalable distributed systems, and delivering modern full-stack applications using React, Node.
js, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders. Relevant technologies reflected in comparable full-stack cloud-native environments include React.
js, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Lead a team of developers and provide technical direction for the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications.
- Drive architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor and coach team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business outcomes.
Full Stack Development:
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and Microservices architecture.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Implement event-driven and asynchronous processing patterns.
Cloud & Serverless Engineering:
- Design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
- Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, high availability, and security of cloud applications.
Microservices & Integration:
- Architect and implement distributed microservices using containerized and serverless patterns.
- Develop event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka, messaging systems, and asynchronous workflows.
- Implement API versioning, security, observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- DevOps & Quality Engineering:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Implement automated testing, code quality checks, security scans, and deployment automation.
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management.

- Build high-performing engineering teams through mentoring and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Experience with high-volume transactional systems and distributed architectures.
- Knowledge of security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and RBAC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications preferred.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41. 61/hour - $65. 01/hour.
