  • Build and maintain automated workflows, APIs, and platform integrations.
  • Develop and enhance applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD using Terraform and GitHub Actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years supporting production AWS environments.
  • Experience operating high-traffic, public-facing websites and owning systems through production support.
  • Strong AWS experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, CloudWatch, S3, SNS/SQS, IAM, Route 53, and Secrets Manager.
  • Deep DynamoDB expertise, including access-pattern-driven design, partition and sort keys, Global Secondary Indexes, query optimization, and scaling considerations.

  • Strong development experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Next.js SSR, SSG, ISR, responsive development, SEO, accessibility, and front-end performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of CDN architecture, edge/API/browser caching, resiliency, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Glue, EventBridge, ECS/Fargate, or ETL and data-integration pipelines.
  • Amazon RDS for SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
  • Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront, Contentstack, or another headless CMS.
  • AWS certifications and experience in media, entertainment, direct-to-consumer, or content publishing.
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A self-directed senior engineer who can own AWS operations, DynamoDB architecture, workflow automation, DevOps, production support, and high-traffic Next.js applications with minimal supervision.
