Occupational Therapist Home Health PRN

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing OT service to patients in their home, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of life for patients through therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and progress.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in patient care techniques.

Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
