**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services on a **PRN** (as\-needed) basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience across diverse settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, inpatient, outpatient, and post\-acute care.

This role involves developing personalized treatment plans, implementing evidence\-based interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and those recovering from injury or illness.

**Duties**

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients’ functional abilities and needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving daily living skills, motor functions, and overall independence.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Implement evidence\-based occupational therapy programs tailored to specific populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards.
  • Support discharge planning by assessing patient progress and recommending appropriate therapies or home modifications.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding therapy goals and strategies for ongoing support.

**Requirements**

  • Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or schools.
  • Proficiency in occupational therapy assessments and treatment plan development.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement occupational therapy programs effectively.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention and school\-aged children with disabilities or special education needs.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management and medical documentation practices.
  • Strong client communication skills coupled with the ability to collaborate within interprofessional teams.
  • Background in working with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders supports delivering targeted interventions.
  • Acute care experience—including ICU or inpatient settings—is highly desirable for this role.

Pay: $70\. 00 \- $75\. 00 per day
