About CABEM

CABEM Technologies is an enterprise software company with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations in regulated industries manage complex operational requirements. Our solutions include Competency Manager, Accreditation Manager, and CJIS Manager, alongside custom software development and professional services delivered by a US based engineering team.

The Role

CABEM is seeking a Product Marketing and Market Development Lead to connect our software solutions with the needs of our priority markets, including healthcare, government, criminal justice, and manufacturing. You will develop market insight, define ideal customer profiles, strengthen product positioning, and work with our Vertical Managers and marketing team to develop focused growth strategies.

This role combines product marketing with market development, partnering with leadership, product and development teams, sales, and CABEM's external marketing team. Healthcare market expertise is strongly preferred.

What You Will Do

Product Positioning and Solution Alignment

  • Understand CABEM's products, custom development capabilities, customer use cases, and competitive advantages. Develop clear value propositions and messaging for priority buyers and markets.
  • Define where individual products and combined solutions fit customer needs. Work with product leadership to validate claims, identify gaps, and translate customer feedback into recommendations.

Market Research and Customer Definition

  • Assess addressable markets, customer segments, buying processes, competitors, and trends with the Vertical Managers. Recommend priorities based on customer need, solution fit, and commercial opportunity.
  • Define ideal customer profiles, buyer roles, purchasing triggers, and decision criteria. Validate assumptions through customer conversations, sales feedback, and available market data.

Growth Strategy and Market Development

  • Work with Vertical Managers, sales, and marketing resources to develop growth plans, product launches, and campaigns grounded in defined audiences, buyer needs, and business objectives.
  • Identify potential partners, associations, events, and routes to market. Help Vertical Managers evaluate opportunities and focus resources on the strongest prospects.
  • Develop campaign and launch briefs that define the audience, customer problem, value proposition, offer, sales follow-up, and success measures. Establish priorities with leadership and the marketing team.

Marketing Collaboration and Sales Enablement

  • Help to define marketing strategy, campaign planning, and execution. Work with marketing resources to coordinate leads, website management, SEO, content production, social media, email marketing, and digital campaign execution within the agreed scope.
  • Provide product and market expertise, customer insights, subject matter access, and timely feedback to support accurate, relevant marketing materials. Jointly develop messaging and content priorities.
  • Work with sales to develop product overviews, presentations, case studies, competitive guidance, and other sales materials. Help sales teams communicate solution value to different buyers.

Performance and Coordination

  • Participate in sales and Vertical planning discussions. Review campaign engagement, qualified opportunities, pipeline contribution, and sales feedback to refine targeting and priorities.

What You Bring

  • At least five years of relevant B2B software or technology experience in product marketing, market development, or a closely related role.
  • Healthcare market expertise is strongly preferred, especially experience with healthcare software, workforce development, competency, accreditation, or compliance. Experience in other regulated industries is also valuable.
  • Experience defining customer segments and ideal customer profiles, conducting market and competitive research, and turning findings into positioning and practical growth plans.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills; experience working with sales, technical teams, and external marketing partners. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Why CABEM

Help shape how an established software company brings its solutions to market, with direct access to leadership, close collaboration with product and sales teams, and the opportunity to influence growth across regulated industries.
