Translate business needs into actionable requirements, drive solution options in partnership with a Product Lead and technical teams, and take ownership of testing, documentation, and level II support with minimal day-to-day direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for operational processes, regional variations, and business drivers for assigned products, building depth of knowledge across the processes they support and expanding breadth over time.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, power users, and vendor teams to identify and shape system improvements that drive measurable outcomes (efficiency, quality, compliance, collaboration).
  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and system configurations (workflows, rules, security roles, data models, validations).
  • Perform fit–gap analysis and proposes solution options in partnership with the Product Lead and technical teams.
  • Plan and execute configuration changes, unit testing, and support integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead or support data migration, data validation, and reporting changes related to new implementations and enhancements.
  • Own documentation for all assigned products and processes, including configurations, integrations, workflows, and support knowledge articles, ensuring updates are made as changes occur.
  • Provide structured level II application support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and routing of defects and enhancements into the product backlog.
  • Monitor usage, incident trends, and stakeholder feedback to identify systemic issues and recurring problems, propose long-term solutions rather than only point fixes, and insights and improvement opportunities to the Product team.
  • Contribute to change management activities such as release notes, training content, and stakeholder communications for product changes.
  • Provide input on technical debt within their assigned products, helping identify where it exists, understanding its impact, and contributing recommendations on how it should be addressed.
  • Support vendor relationships and platform assessments within their scope by contributing functional knowledge, user perspective, and requirements input.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, systems analysis, business analysis, application support, implementation, or a related role managing business applications through launch, transition, or steady-state operations.
  • Solid understanding of business application lifecycles and the ability to map current-state and future-state workflows, ownership models, support needs, and transition requirements.
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, user story writing, process mapping, acceptance criteria, and designing practical product or configuration changes.
  • Experience with application testing, release validation, support readiness, runbooks, knowledge articles, Level II support, root-cause analysis, and converting incidents or feedback into clear backlog items.
  • Bachelor degree in business, information systems, computer science, operations, or related field.
