Urgent Care / Occ Med Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner

Burke Primary Care is hiring a fulltime PA/NP for our Morganton, NC clinic. Four-day work week, supporting busy primary care group with overflow urgent care visits and occupational health visits from local industry.

Assess, diagnose and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repairing, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care and DOT and pre-placement physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging.

Prescribe, educate, and chart patient visits.

Qualifications

· FNP-C and PA-C license in NC

· 1+ year of urgent care, emergency or primary care experience preferred
