Bull Dawg Athletic Training and Physical Therapy is looking for an outcome-oriented physical therapist to join our practice part time in Arlington, VA. Come join our team of seasoned professionals to help our patients feel better and get well through integrative strategies. This role is part-time, Monday-Friday.
High-quality care can only be provided by spending time with your patients and our schedule is designed to provide you with the time you need to build strong relationships, educate your patients, and drive better quality outcomes. You can expect to see one patient per hour during your regular shift.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities
The incoming physical therapist will help patients recover from injuries and illnesses, regain movement, and manage pain. You will be involved in the direct care of patients as well as tasks that are indirectly related to patient care, such as cleaning and setting up the treatment area, and performing clerical duties with the assistance of our trained staff.
- Patient Consultation- evaluation, treatment, review health and medical histories, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit.
- Provide services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from diseases or injuries.
- Create patient treatment plans and procedures such as exercises, manual therapy, treatment modalities, and activities of daily living.
- Ensure proper documentation with evaluation, daily notes, plan of care, home exercise program, and discharge note.
- Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards of the organization.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, and co-workers.
- Ensure licensures are current and up to date.
- Perform other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the clinic.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members.
- Adhere to organizational and departmental policy regarding time frame, appropriate forms, and content of written rehabilitation - provide appropriate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area.
- Assist front office with scheduling, checking out patients, and other office duties.
- Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude.
Hourly Range- up to $55. 00 pay based on experience
Physical Therapist Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Physical Therapist perferred not required.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Virginia Physical Therapist license current and in good standing
- Current CPR certification
