Senior Project Manager – Global Logistics Digital Programs
Organization:
Brooksource Pharmaceutical Client – Global Logistics & Supply Chain Technology
Target Start:
Early November 2026
Summary
Brooksource is supporting a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer undergoing significant expansion and modernization of its transportation and logistics technology landscape. The Global Logistics organization is actively investing in digital platforms that improve transportation visibility, warehouse operations, freight management, and global supply chain execution.
The Digital Logistics team is driving several high-priority initiatives simultaneously, including a global Transportation Management System (TMS) rollout, real-time transportation visibility and yard management implementations, expansion of freight audit and payment capabilities, and development of a logistics control tower strategy.
As these programs continue to scale globally, the team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide structure, governance, and execution oversight across multiple workstreams.
This is a business-first project management role (approximately 70% business / 30% technology) focused on driving delivery, managing stakeholders, coordinating vendors, and ensuring successful execution across supply chain, operations, and technology teams. The ideal candidate will understand how technology supports logistics operations without needing to configure or develop solutions directly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project and program management across transportation and logistics technology initiatives, including TMS, transportation visibility, and yard management programs.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks while driving mitigation plans with key stakeholders.
- Hold delivery teams accountable for commitments across business, IT, ERP, vendor, and operational teams.
- Support expansion of freight audit and payment capabilities through project planning, execution tracking, and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop repeatable deployment frameworks, rollout playbooks, governance models, and implementation standards.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent logistics technology initiatives across sites, regions, and business functions.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings involving logistics operations, transportation teams, technology groups, and third-party partners.
- Partner with freight carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to support program execution and issue resolution.
- Drive adoption of standard processes and best practices across sites and regions.
- Establish project governance, reporting, performance metrics, and operating cadences to support long-term program sustainability.
- Provide executive-ready project status updates, risk reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones and regions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project or program management experience supporting enterprise technology implementations.
- Experience leading transportation, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse technology projects.
- Strong understanding of transportation operations, warehousing, freight movement, carriers, freight forwarders, or distribution networks.
- Familiarity with enterprise integrations and system architecture concepts, including interfaces, EDI transactions, and data flows between business systems.
- Proven success building project structure and driving execution in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Experience managing multi-site or global rollouts and standardizing processes across locations.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and hold cross-functional teams accountable while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills with both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to operate independently within a complex matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Transportation Management Systems (TMS), particularly SAP TM environments.
- Experience with Project44 or comparable real-time transportation visibility platforms.
- Experience with freight audit and payment solutions.
- Background in supply chain operations, industrial engineering, logistics, transportation, or distribution.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Experience helping organizations transition from project-based delivery into long-term program management models.
- Experience working with global teams across North America and Europe.
- PMP, PgMP, or related project management certification.
What We're Looking For
- We are looking for a business-minded project manager who can bridge the gap between operations and technology.
- This individual should be comfortable leading discussions with both business and IT stakeholders, translating operational needs into technology initiatives, and driving accountability across diverse teams.
- The ideal candidate thrives in environments with multiple moving parts, enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex programs, and can quickly build trust with stakeholders.
- While technology awareness is important, this position is focused on delivery leadership and business process execution rather than hands-on technical development.
