Job Title: Public Relations Account Executive

Reports To: Vice President

Location: 41 East 11th St, New York City

Job Purpose:

The Account Executive will play a critical role in supporting Broadsheet Communications' client portfolio.

This position works closely with the agency's Founder and Vice Presidents to develop strategies and tactical campaigns that support clients in the media and advertising technology industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Track industry trade publications and share relevant news coverage with clients
• Create and maintain client activity trackers
• Draft press releases
• Develop and maintain select relationships with client-specific media and industry press
• Develop and support thought leadership efforts for clients
• Research and maintain media lists
• Participate in client planning calls
• Participate in weekly client meetings
• Manage notes, action items, ongoing deadlines, and next steps for clients
• Research and track industry awards and conferences for clients
• Prepare award entries and speaking submissions, and track their progress

Requirements:

• Comfortable with and thrives within a fast-moving organization
• Background in media, marketing, and/or information services a plus
• Experience with communications, marketing, media and PR
• Team player with top-notch leadership skills, capable of working with communications professionals in a fast-paced environment
