Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health - Per Diem

Job Overview

As a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health for BrightStar Care of Southern Maine, you will bring skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients in their homes and communities. As a RN, you will provide critical care services each for each patient’s needs, offer patient education and support continuity of care.

This role calls for sound clinical judgment, clear documentation, and the flexibility to respond to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care services to patients such as medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, ostomy care and other services within the scope of the care plan.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing and other care team members regarding patient care.
• Document visits accurately in electronic health records while protecting patient privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Qualifications

Requirements-

• Current RN license in the State of Maine
• At least one year of recent clinical experience; home health preferred
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current BLS certification
• Negative TB test
• Driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation

Pay: $47.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
