Join the BrightStar Care Team as a Home Care Infusion Nurse (RN) and Excel! Located in the North Dekalb area.

BrightStar Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with infusion therapy experience to join our clinical team. This position involves providing professional infusion services and specialized nursing care to patients in their homes while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous (IV) medications, and specialty infusions as prescribed.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, treatment plans, and infusion procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Proactively updates client/patients' family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to all regulatory, infection control, and agency standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with IV starts, venous access devices, and infusion administration.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia where care is provided.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of infusion therapy is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.
