About this role

Make an impact

The Deposit Accounting Associate on the Centralized Team will own deposit accounting for the Arizona market, supporting approximately 29 communities. This fully remote role requires a detail-oriented, service-minded professional who can manage multiple deadlines, apply compliance requirements accurately, and work with residents and on-site teams to bring each move-out to a clear, timely resolution.

  • Take over the Arizona market and complete deposit accounting for all communities.
  • Enter move-out charges in Yardi once site teams submit them, ensuring accuracy before statements are issued.
  • Generate Statements of Deposit Accounts (SODAs) for move-outs and canceled applicants, detailing refunds and charges.
  • Print and send security deposit paperwork to past residents electronically and/or via USPS where required.
  • Monitor the team email inbox for resident questions and charge disputes, and engage residents to reach a resolution.
  • Partner with Community Teams to ensure proper documentation and inspection paperwork are submitted within allotted timeframes.
  • Audit balance owed documentation prior to sending to third-party collections.
  • Stay current on state and local compliance for security deposit refunds, acceptable damage charges, and interest requirements.
  • Use Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite to track workload and report on market activity.
  • Identify trends, recommend process improvements, and participate in special projects.

What you should bring

  • Prior experience as an Assistant Community Manager or above in property management.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to handle disputes with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with a reliable home office setup and Wi-Fi.
  • Knowledge of fair housing, state, and local security deposit regulations preferred.
  • Positive, professional attitude and strong team orientation.

What you can be a part of

You’ll be part of Bridge’s Centralized Team, helping build and launch a centralized deposit accounting model for the Arizona market. In this role, you’ll take work off the plates of on-site teams, protect the accuracy and compliance of every deposit statement, and give residents a clear and respectful move-out experience.

You’ll work closely with a collaborative leadership team in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment where your input on process improvements is valued.
