Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding outpatient environment with a dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, including monitoring vital signs, starting & maintaining IV lines, and managing pain.
• Provide patient education regarding post-operative care, recovery, and any necessary follow-up.
• Document patient care accurately and consistently in accordance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist the oral surgeon during surgery by preparing surgical instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and providing support during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience with anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and post-surgical recovery is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols, surgical instruments, and infection control procedures.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
