Overview

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across assigned corporate and business functions within a complex, evolving organization.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, Corporate Functions, this position will provide comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. The Senior HR Generalist will independently manage day-to-day HR matters, coach managers, and partner closely with BrandSafway’s Benefits, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, Payroll, Communications, and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and leaders across assigned corporate and business functions.
  • Provide HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, organizational changes, internal mobility, and offboarding.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance concerns, attendance, workplace investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee feedback, documentation, career conversations, and consistent application of company policies.
  • Support workforce planning, promotions, transfers, reporting-line changes, and organizational restructurings.
  • Support the implementation of organizational changes, including stakeholder coordination, employee and manager communications, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce needs, position approvals, candidate selection, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with Total Rewards, Benefits, and Talent Management on compensation, benefits, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development.
  • Partner with Benefits and relevant stakeholders on employee leave, workplace accommodation, and return-to-work matters, ensuring appropriate coordination and documentation.
  • Support recurring HR processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, employee engagement activities, talent planning, and compliance initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends, including headcount, turnover, vacancies, employee relations activity, and organizational changes, to identify risks and support business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, communications, case documentation, and other HR materials.
  • Monitor workforce trends, promote consistent HR practices, and escalate significant legal, compliance, or employee relations risks as appropriate.
  • Coordinate employment-based immigration and visa matters in partnership with employees, managers, internal stakeholders, and immigration counsel, ensuring timely documentation and alignment with applicable company requirements.
  • Support HR data-integrity and cleanup activities, including reviews of employee information, supervisory organizations, and role-based security access, in partnership with HRIS and HR Shared Services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR generalist, employee relations, or HR business partner role.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR practices.
  • Experience independently managing employee relations matters and supporting multiple business functions or geographically dispersed employee groups.
  • Strong communication, judgment, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
