About this role
About Summer Culinary:
We are a small business offering fun, hands-on culinary summer camps for kids. We’re looking for a creative, proactive social media manager to grow our online presence, engage local families, and increase camp enrollment. Check out our site summerculinary.com.
The Role
We're looking for a creative partner who can help us build a strong online community, get more families excited about our camps, and turn engagement into registrations.
This person can create engaging content, build our audience organically, and turn social media visibility into enrollment inquiries and registrations. Our primary platforms are Instagram and Facebook (to much less of a degree).
Responsibilities & Monthly Deliverables:
- Reels & Video: Create 8–12 engaging Reels per month featuring cooking activities, recipes, behind-the-scenes content, camp experiences, and trending formats.
- Posts & Carousels: Create and publish approximately 8 additional posts or carousels per month.
- Stories: Publish Stories several days per week to build excitement, showcase content, and promote enrollment.
- Community Engagement: Develop a proactive commenting strategy, engage with relevant local businesses and parent communities, respond to comments, and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Growth & Enrollment: Develop content strategies that increase reach, engagement, relevant followers, website visits, and camp registrations.
- Planning & Analytics: Maintain a monthly content calendar, track performance, and provide a brief monthly report with results and recommendations.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience managing social media for small businesses or consumer brands.
- A strong portfolio of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Experience growing audiences organically and creating content that drives inquiries or sales.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and video-editing skills.
- A proactive, organized self-starter who can bring fresh ideas to the brand.
- Experience in food, cooking, education, children's activities, or local marketing is a plus.
Pay: $1,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
