An established Managed Service Provider with more than 30 years in business is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer / Tier 3 Engineer to join its growing Dallas\-area team. The company supports complex client environments nationwide and delivers enterprise\-level managed IT, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity services with a strong emphasis on white\-glove customer service.

This is a true senior engineering position that leans heavily toward projects and infrastructure work — approximately 70% projects / 30% escalations and support. You’ll serve as a highest\-level technical resource for clients and junior engineers while designing, implementing, and improving Microsoft, Azure, server, virtualization, and network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is someone who can do more than troubleshoot. They want an engineer who can assess an environment, design the solution, implement it, and provide technical guidance to the rest of the team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud issues.
• Spend approximately 70% of your time on projects and implementations.
• Design and implement Azure and hybrid\-cloud solutions.
• Work across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning and technical design through implementation and completion.
• Handle migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud modernization, and security improvements.
• Evaluate client environments and recommend technical improvements.
• Use PowerShell and automation to improve efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Work alongside Account Managers and leadership on client strategy and technical roadmaps.
• Take ownership of complex client environments and serve as a trusted technical resource.

**What They’re Looking For**

• Strong MSP / Managed Services experience.
• Senior\-level Systems Engineer / Tier 3 background.
• Strong experience with Azure and Microsoft 365\.
• Advanced Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft infrastructure experience.
• Strong virtualization experience.
• Solid networking and infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions, not just supporting existing environments.
• Ability to independently own technical projects from beginning to end.
• Strong troubleshooting and escalation experience.
• PowerShell/automation experience is highly valuable.
• Comfortable mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Strong client\-facing communication skills and a white\-glove service mentality.
