We work with a diverse range of clients, including commercial developers, general contractors, architects, universities, retailers, and corporate businesses, bringing creative concepts to life through high-quality production and installation.
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Graphic Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in graphic design, print production, and preparing artwork for large-format applications. This role requires someone who can balance creativity with technical accuracy while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare artwork for a wide variety of signage and large-format graphic applications, including window graphics, wallcoverings, banners, building wraps, dimensional signage, and environmental graphics.
- Develop creative concepts, layouts, and design mockups based on client specifications and branding guidelines.
- Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork, ensuring proper dimensions, scale, resolution, bleeds, cut paths, and file formats.
- Review architectural drawings, site measurements, and project specifications to develop accurate artwork layouts.
- Create detailed proofs and visual renderings for client review and approval.
- Make revisions to artwork based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, production staff, and installers to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and ready for fabrication.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Review client-supplied artwork and identify potential production issues before printing.
- Maintain organized design files, project documentation, and artwork revisions.
- Ensure consistency in branding, colors, materials, and overall design quality across projects.
- Assist with material specifications, production layouts, and installation drawings as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within the signage, printing, advertising, or architectural graphics industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of large-format printing, vector artwork, typography, color management, and print production processes.
- Experience preparing print-ready files, including proper bleeds, crop marks, cut contours, and scaled layouts.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with measurements, scaling, and production requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working for a sign company or large-format print production facility.
- Familiarity with signage materials, including self-adhesive vinyl, perforated window film, wallcoverings, acrylic, aluminum, and other architectural signage substrates.
- Experience designing environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, ADA signage, and dimensional lettering.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other design or production software.
- Experience preparing installation diagrams, elevations, and scaled production drawings.
- Understanding of fabrication methods and installation considerations for interior and exterior signage.
