Sr. Electronics Engineer

About the Role

Bluewater Enterprises designs and manufactures high-quality marine electronics for boat builders and outfitters worldwide. Our products — including switches, busbars, wiring solutions, and waterproof connectors — are built to perform in some of the harshest environments on the water.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to serve as our sole engineer and primary technical resource. This is a hands-on role working primarily in low-voltage DC systems (12V, 24V, and 48V), with some AC applications.

You will own the engineering function end to end — supporting customers, improving current products, and developing new solutions that keep Bluewater at the front of the marine electronics market.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electronic circuitry for low-voltage DC (12V, 24V, 48V) and AC applications
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers — troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions
• Help customers implement and integrate Bluewater products into their marine systems
• Troubleshoot and improve existing product lines for performance, reliability, and durability
• Develop and refine new products to expand the Bluewater lineup
• Create and maintain assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Provide general engineering support across the business as needed

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on electronics and circuitry experience
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage DC systems and AC fundamentals
• Experience supporting customers directly in a technical capacity
• Ability to read and produce schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Proven ability to work independently as the sole technical resource
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
• Marine, automotive, or harsh-environment electronics experience is a plus
• Military electronics or field applications background is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Pay: $74,466.64 - $90,000.00 per year
