Full Stack Software Engineer

. This role is responsible for transforming application concepts and prototypes into secure, production-ready solutions, improving existing codebases, and establishing development patterns that support reliable and maintainable applications.

This position is REMOTE and Contract to hire (US Citizenship required)

Must be in EST or CST time zone

No Corp to Corp vendors

Job Duties

• Review and improve existing application code for security, reliability, performance, and maintainability
• Refactor prototypes and early-stage applications into structured, production-ready solutions
• Develop full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Implement automated testing, error handling, input validation, dependency management, and application security controls
• Manage application source code, branching, builds, releases, and deployments through Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and support cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure services
• Integrate applications with APIs, enterprise systems, authentication services, and data sources
• Develop and enhance reusable application templates, components, development standards, and deployment patterns

Skills & Experience

Required

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Full-stack development experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience reviewing, debugging, refactoring, and extending existing application code
• Experience with Microsoft Azure application hosting services such as App Service, Functions, Static Web Apps, or Container Apps
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of application security practices including secrets management, dependency management, input validation, and least-privilege access
• Experience implementing application authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID or comparable identity platforms
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating applications with external systems

Desired

• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD platforms
• Experience with Azure Key Vault or comparable secrets-management technologies
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Bicep, ARM, Terraform, or comparable tools
• Experience creating reusable application templates, shared components, or standardized development frameworks
• Experience implementing automated application testing and continuous validation
• Experience with software supply-chain security, dependency scanning, and secrets scanning
• Experience working across multiple modern application frameworks and development environments
