Senior Technical Product Manager – Material Handling Systems
Our client is looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of advanced automation solutions that transform how products move through complex logistics and material handling environments. This role focuses on the design, standardization, and evolution of Conveyance and Sortation Product lines.
You will define the vision, roadmap, and performance standards for a critical suite of technologies. You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering and business, driving innovation while ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with operational goals.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, influence system design, and deliver high-impact automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap
for material handling equipment, including requirements and integration standards
- Serve as a technical expert
on conveyance, sortation, and related technologies
- Lead product development
, including research, design documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
- Drive alignment across teams
, communicating technical concepts and influencing stakeholders
- Solve complex system challenges

- Manage the full product lifecycle

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
- 5 years is an technical capacity in the material handling industry, as a Product Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Engineer or Product Development Engineer.
- Strong technical communication and analytical skills
- Ability to learn new electro-mechanical technologies in detail
- Ability to tie technical features to customer value
Preferred Qualifications
- End to end product management for capital equipment in B2B space
- Ability to compile and articulate compelling business cases
- Strong leadership qualities that can influence cross functional teams
- Ability to travel 20-30%
This is an onsite position based in Boston, Atlanta, Nashville, Austin, Cincinnati or Seattle.
Total Compensation target is $150-230k
