Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Description:

Bloom OT and Wellness, LLC is a looking to hire a pediatric occupational therapist to accommodate a growing caseload. We are a therapist-owned occupational therapy practice serving families throughout Bucks and the bordering areas of Montgomery County.

We believe in providing compassionate, holistic, neurodiversity-affirming care and support to families in the areas of feeding, sensory/self-regulation, and fine/gross motor skills.

We are looking for someone to work with our older caseload of preschool/school-aged clients, ages 2-12, between the hours 3:00PM-7:00PM. Additional hours can be added, if desired.

Responsibilities

As a therapist, you will coordinate regular home, community, and clinic-based visits for direct intervention and parent coaching/consulting. You will plan treatment sessions, provide direct intervention appropriate for client needs and goals, teach caregiver carryover, and clearly document services.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of pediatric outpatient experience
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License
• Reliable personal transportation
• Advanced training and working knowledge of sensory processing, feeding, and social-emotional development.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and families
• Understanding and use of neurodiversity-affirming treatment approaches
