Job description

About this role

Bish’s RV is excited to welcome a new HR Coordinator to support our HR Operations team and help keep our people processes running smoothly.

As an HR Coordinator at Bish’s RV, you will provide essential administrative support to our HR Operations team, including mail handling, data entry, and employee file management. You will also process key steps along the employee lifecycle, such as new hires, job and compensation changes, and terminations.

Your accuracy and organization will help ensure our employee records are complete and up-to-date and that our team members receive timely, reliable support.

Our HR team provides strategic direction and guidance to our 29 RV dealerships and employees across 31 states. By joining us, you’ll be part of an energetic and dedicated team that is committed to fostering a positive and productive work environment. We believe in collaboration, continuous learning, and supporting each other to achieve our goals.

Bish’s RV is proud to be one of the largest family-owned RV dealers in the country. We are committed to offering quality products and exceptional services that surpass our customers’ expectations. At Bish’s RV, we don’t just sell RVs; we create memorable experiences and lifelong relationships.

We are searching for top performers who set high standards for themselves and are dedicated to achieving their goals. At Bish’s RV, we foster a goal-driven, high-performance culture where being "Different with a Purpose" sets us apart. Our culture is built upon our three core values that describe who we are: Genuine, Fun, and Driven by Results.

Our ideal candidate is a team player with a can-do attitude, a sharp eye for detail, and a talent for keeping things organized, even while juggling multiple priorities. They take ownership of their work, ask questions, and think critically about how things are done rather than simply doing them the way they’ve always been done.

Just as importantly, they don’t hesitate to reach out for help when needed and know when an issue should be escalated.

This is an hourly position based onsite at our corporate office in Meridian, ID. Even if you don’t perfectly match the qualifications listed below, we’re eager to hear from you if this opportunity sparks your interest! Pay range: $20-$25 hourly!

What you’ll do

From day 1:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our business operations by completing our immersive shadowing program, known as the New Hire Roadmap
  • Learn the company’s HR processes, policies, and procedures, as well as the systems we use, including UKG
  • Handle incoming and outgoing HR mail, including sorting, scanning, routing, and filing documents
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry in UKG
  • Maintain organized, complete, and confidential employee files

Once you are comfortable with our processes:

  • Process steps along the employee lifecycle in UKG, including new hires, job and compensation changes, and terminations
  • Partner closely with Payroll to ensure new hires, job and compensation changes, and terminations are processed accurately and on time
  • Review paperwork and system entries for accuracy and completeness, following up on missing or incorrect information
  • Monitor and respond to employee inquiries received through the HR shared email and text inboxes, escalating to the appropriate team member as needed
  • Support the HR Operations team with special projects and additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Take ownership of assigned HR processes, asking questions and recommending improvements to make them more accurate and efficient
  • Continue to handle mail, data entry, and employee file management, as described above

What we’re looking for (basic qualifications):

  • Work history in an administrative, clerical, or office support role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable learning and working in multiple computer systems, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and determine what’s truly urgent, even when everything coming in is labeled a top priority, while providing excellent service to internal customers
  • Sound judgment about when to work through an issue independently and when to ask for help or escalate

What will set you apart:

  • College degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working in Human Resources or handling employee records
  • Experience with UKG or another HRIS/HCM system (bonus points for UKG, Ultimate Software, and/or Kronos!)

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and other supplemental coverages
  • 401K
  • Employee discounts
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Gym membership reimbursement
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Annual Incentive Trip for Top Performers
  • RV Borrowing Program
  • Incredible Team Culture
