Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Northville & Dearborn, Michigan
1099 Contractor | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule
Compensation
- Dearborn Charter School: $50–$55 per hour
- Northville Clinic:
- $60 per treatment session — 50-minute sessions
- $70 per re-evaluation
- $80 per initial evaluation
OTs can build their caseload based on their availability, with the opportunity to increase hours as the caseload grows.
Beyond OT is looking for a Michigan-licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric team. This is a flexible 1099 contractor position with opportunities to work in our Northville clinic, a Dearborn charter school, or both.
You can choose the setting that works best for you.
Position Options
Dearborn Charter School — $50–$55/hour
Provide school-based occupational therapy services at a charter school 2 days per week (approx 10 hours a week). There is flexibility to attend IEP meetings virtually when appropriate.
Northville Clinic — $60 per 50 min visit, $70 per re-evaluation, $80 per initial evaluation
Provide pediatric OT services in our Northville clinic. You can build your caseload based on your availability, with the potential to increase your hours over time.
Combination — Clinic + School
Prefer variety? You can combine both settings. We are especially interested in OTs who would enjoy working in both environments, but you can choose clinic-only, school-only, or a combination.

What You'll Do
- Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and identify functional and developmental needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide occupational therapy interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, feeding, and functional participation
- Help children develop greater independence in everyday activities
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals
- Communicate with families regarding progress and home strategies
- Complete required clinical and school-based documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- Pediatric OT experience or level II pediatric OT experience
- Comfortable working with children with a variety of developmental and functional needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals
