About this role

Stamford, CT • biBerk Marketing

Job Type Full-time Description Berkshire Hathaway Direct Insurance Company (biBERK) is building a cloud-first, API-driven insurance platform that enables small business owners to buy commercial policies directly online. We are seeking an analytical and technically minded Marketing Analyst to join our team in Stamford, CT or Omaha, NE, to help scale our digital marketing analytics and performance reporting framework.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of growth marketing, data science, and web applications. You will leverage modern AI coding environments (such as Claude, Copilot) alongside core digital tracking tools (Google Ads, GA4) and Python/R web application frameworks to build real-time interactive dashboards.

Your efforts will directly inform marketing investment, optimize digital acquisition funnels, and track key operational metrics for senior leadership.

Requirement

Must know Python and be familiar with using AI tools (like Claude, CoPilot)

This job is hybrid with mandatory in-office days at our Stamford, CT location on a weekly or monthly basis depending on location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Dashboard Engineering: Design, deploy, and support interactive analytical applications and custom web tools using Python (Streamlit) or R (Shiny). Build reporting systems to track direct-to-business marketing metrics, including quote-to-bind ratios, channel attribution, conversion velocities, and other funnel metrics. Use AI to build and maintain these dashboards on an Azure environment.
  • AI-Accelerated Development: Serve as a functional champion for generative AI tools (Claude) within marketing operations. Utilize LLM workflows to accelerate code synthesis, automate data pipelines, and refactor analytical scripts to streamline dashboard delivery timelines.
  • Cloud & Data Integration: Partner with internal technology teams within the Azure ecosystem to integrate marketing data streams, support data warehouse migrations, and ensure secure deployment of analytical web applications.
  • Growth Experimentation & Media Testing: Design, run, and evaluate rigor-based media testing frameworks to measure true marketing incrementality. Execute Conversion Lift studies, Geo-Testing / Match-Market models, and A/B experiments across digital channels.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & Data Pipeline Maintenance: Maintain dashboards and data pipelines that serve the marketing team and the broader organization. Review daily metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and alerts, and follow up with the right stakeholders.
  • Executive Reporting & Insights: Summarize and present analyses and key findings to senior leadership in a clear, decision-ready format.
  • Statistical Analysis & Decision Support: Conduct statistical analyses to identify emerging trends and equip leadership with the evidence needed to make informed decisions.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend meetings and conferences to stay current on the latest developments in the MarTech landscape and bring relevant ideas back to the team.

Requirements

  • Development & Analytics Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python (Streamlit) and/or R (Shiny) for web application development and data visualization. Working familiarity with GA4 and Google Ads reporting. Hands-on experience using Claude/LLMs for code generation, workflow automation, and refactoring.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing science, or business intelligence. Experience in B2B commercial insurance, financial services, or insurtech environments is strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • Location: Must reside within a viable commuting distance of our Stamford, CT or Omaha, NE office to attend required strategy and team alignment sessions.
  • Database & Cloud: Foundational understanding of the Azure ecosystem for data storage, query optimization, or web application hosting.
  • Testing Methodologies: Proven understanding of statistical media testing, specifically Conversion Lift testing, Geo-Testing, and A/B experimentation architectures.
  • Preferred Skills: Prior experience with traditional enterprise BI platforms (Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
