About the Role

------------------

This senior-level engineer leads the design, implementation, and administration of complex multi-domain datacenter and network environments. The role spans virtualization, storage, cellular/wireless networks, and cross-platform server management at campus or enterprise scale. You will own infrastructure projects end-to-end and drive standardization across physical and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance of multi-domain, cross-platform datacenter environments including rack space utilization, asset tracking, and hardware lifecycle planning
• Administer VMware ESXi, vCloud Director, and NetApp Storage platforms
• Design, implement, and configure 2G, 3G, and 4G/LTE cellular networks
• Install, configure, and support wireless and mobile network infrastructure including switches, routers, and gateway servers
• Deploy and manage network firewalls and conduct associated testing and validation
• Manage Windows, Linux, and Ubuntu server and workstation environments including DNS, remote connectivity, APC remote power, and account administration
• Lead medium-to-large infrastructure projects and major phases of large-scale initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering VMware ESXi and vCloud Director
• Experience with NetApp storage administration
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cellular networks (2G/3G/4G LTE)
• Proficiency configuring and managing switches, routers, and network firewalls
• Cross-platform systems administration across Windows, Linux, and Ubuntu
• Experience managing DNS, remote access solutions, and APC remote power systems
• Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale infrastructure projects

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with campus-scale or enterprise wireless network deployments
• Familiarity with hardware asset lifecycle management and datacenter consolidation planning
• Experience with network segmentation across multi-domain environments
