Benji Personal Injury is actively seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing legal team on a part-time basis.

Benji Personal Injury is a California-based litigation firm representing individuals in personal injury matters throughout the state. We are seeking a Part-Time Litigation Attorney to join our legal team.

The ideal candidate has substantial civil litigation experience, strong knowledge of California court procedures, and the ability to independently manage assigned litigation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Appear at court hearings, including Case Management Conferences (CMCs), Orders to Show Cause (OSCs), and other civil proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Conduct settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Draft and review litigation documents.
• Manage discovery matters, including responses, disputes, and related proceedings.
• Evaluate cases, identify litigation issues, and contribute to case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary.
• Collaborate with the firm's attorneys and litigation support staff to ensure timely case progression.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar number.
• Personal injury litigation experience preferred but not required.
• Thorough understanding of California civil procedure, discovery rules, and litigation practices.
• Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage competing deadlines.
• Willingness to attend court proceedings and work from the Los Angeles office as needed.

Position Details

This is a part-time, hybrid position intended for an attorney who can provide consistent litigation support while maintaining a flexible schedule. Work will primarily be performed remotely, with in-person attendance required based on case needs.

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
