About this role
Job title:
Physical Therapist (DPT), Full-Time, One-on-One Cash-Pay Clinic
Location:
Henrico, VA (Richmond)
Job type:
Full-time, in person
Pay:
Competitive base salary (open to discussion) + monthly production bonus
You became a PT to solve problems. Then someone handed you three patients and fifteen minutes.
At Bend Movement, every visit is a full hour, one-on-one, with you. No techs. No double-booking.
No insurance company deciding when your patient is done.
We’re a cash-pay, out-of-network clinic in Henrico. We treat runners, lifters, CrossFitters, pickleball players, golfers and active adults who want more than pain relief. They want to get back to the thing they love and keep doing it.
We’re growing, and we’re adding another full-time PT to the team.
Pelvic health is where we most want to grow.
Postpartum return to running and lifting. Leaking during box jumps or heavy deadlifts. Pelvic pain that’s been brushed off for years.
If you’ve trained in pelvic health, we especially want to hear from you. You’d treat it alongside an active orthopedic caseload and help shape how Bend builds it. Pelvic training is a plus, never a requirement.
New grads welcome.
Weekly one-on-one mentorship is built into the job. You’ll get real feedback on your cases and on the business side of PT that school skips.
What your week looks like
- Treat one person at a time for a full 60 minutes
- Build movement-based plans that go after the root cause
- Keep clean, timely notes
- Build long-term relationships with patients through our continuity care program
- Help make content: reels, blog posts, patient resources and community workshops
- Meet with Ben every week for clinical and business mentorship
What you get
- Competitive base salary, open to discussion based on your experience
- Monthly production bonus tied to the revenue you bring in
- Monthly stipend toward your own health insurance
- 15 days PTO
- $1,500 a year for continuing education
- Gym and clinic access
- Weekly one-on-one mentorship with the clinic owner
What you bring
- A DPT, from new grad to experienced
- An active Virginia PT license, or eligible by your start date
- Full-time availability, about 40 hours a week, with occasional evenings, weekends and community events
- A real interest in strength, running and active people
- Comfort on camera, or willingness to get there
This role fits you if
you want to own your caseload, see your patients actually finish their plans, and help build a clinic instead of just working in one.
About Bend.
Dr. Ben Klingelhofer, PT, DPT (VCU 2019), founded Bend in January 2024 after 4.5 years at a high-volume orthopedic practice. He knew he was a good PT, but his attention was split across too many patients at once.
So he built Bend around one idea: give every patient the full hour.
To apply,
email [email protected] with your resume and 2 to 3 sentences on why you became a PT and why Bend. We’ll set up a quick call, then a shadow day at the clinic.
- Bend Movement is an equal opportunity employer.
