Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor at Bell Minor Home in Gainesville, GA. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and overseeing the daily nursing activities performed by our nursing assistants on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is a part-time position (with the opportunity to pick up shifts) requiring a high level of professionalism, leadership, and organizational skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the nursing team and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
• Verify that all nursing personnel adhere to written policies and procedures.
• Perform routine charting duties and maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
• Administer medication as ordered by the physician and maintain accurate medication records.
• Provide physical assessments, deliver care, and maintain optimal resident comfort.
• Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs.
• Consult with physicians and review resident charts as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current state license
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Good leadership qualities
• Organized and detailed work performance
• Good communication skills
• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people
• Comply with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures
• Perform work tasks within physical demand requirements
• Perform essential duties as outlined above
