We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Manager to lead the infrastructure, systems, security, and support that keep our eCommerce and business operations running. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the IT function, including the IT team, budget, vendor relationships, and compliance (including PCI DSS), while setting the standards that keep our environment secure and reliable.

This role requires strong technical, leadership, and communication skills to resolve complex issues, build scalable processes, modernize our technology stack, and partner with business leaders to support company growth.

IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Partner with the CTO to define and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business priorities and growth plans
  • Build strong working relationships with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into technology solutions
  • Own the IT budget, including forecasting, cost management, and evaluation of new technology investments
  • Provide regular status reports to the CTO on projects, risks, performance metrics, and key issues

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including networks, servers, Microsoft 365, and end-user devices
  • Ensure high availability and performance of systems supporting 24/7 eCommerce operations, with proactive monitoring and incident response
  • Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and system redundancy planning and testing
  • Manage telephony/VoIP and collaboration tools supporting employees across all locations
  • Drive modernization and automation initiatives, including cloud migration, device management, and system provisioning

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure the organization operates within PCI DSS requirements and other applicable regulatory and data privacy standards
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, access controls, and change management procedures
  • Oversee cybersecurity tools and practices, including endpoint protection, firewalls, vulnerability management, and security awareness training
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding access processes in partnership with HR

Service Delivery & Vendor Management

  • Lead help desk operations, establishing SLAs, ticketing standards, and documented procedures to deliver excellent internal customer service
  • Manage relationships, contracts, and performance of technology vendors, MSPs, and service providers
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technology solutions supporting the business
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS/Azure) a plus

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years managing IT teams and leading business-critical infrastructure projects
  • Experience supporting eCommerce or other 24/7, internet-facing production environments
  • Experience working in a PCI-compliant or similarly regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, Windows Server, and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and virtualization technologies
  • Solid understanding of networking and security, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, switches, and VLANs
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and MSP relationships
  • Experience supporting a distributed workforce across multiple countries a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives, end users, and vendors
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
