Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high\-quality, scalable software solutions. This role will work closely with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to build reliable applications and services that meet business and user needs.

**About the Role**

The ideal candidate has strong full\-stack development experience, a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

**Onsite Role in Dallas, Texas. **

**Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full\-stack features using Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high\-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, well\-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
• Research technical issues, identify root causes, and develop clear and effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and engineering best practices.
• Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and software development practices.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5\+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 2\+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles, programming methodologies, and engineering best practices.
• Proficiency with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and Bash.
• Experience working with UI/UX teams to implement technical specifications across modern browsers.
• Demonstrated experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON\-based services.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance or mentorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit testing and end\-to\-end testing frameworks.

**Preferred Skills**

• Experience designing and supporting distributed or microservices\-based systems.
• Experience working with cloud\-native application architectures.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production or performance issues.

**Pay range and compensation package**

70K to 75K Per Year
