Senior ERP SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Overview
We are seeking a
Senior ERP Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
to lead quality engineering initiatives across enterprise ERP platforms. This role combines software development, test automation, and ERP domain expertise to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical business applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP development, automated testing, and CI/CD practices, with the ability to contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role that partners closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to drive quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and quality engineering solutions for ERP applications.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and execute ERP testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate complex ERP configurations, workflows, integrations, and business processes.
- Test integrations between ERP platforms and connected systems including CRM, MDM, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure application quality.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on quality engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in software development and quality engineering.
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong ERP development background and understanding of enterprise business processes.
- Experience participating throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience building test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Technical Skills
- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
- UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- API testing tools including Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
- SQL and database validation testing
- ERP testing, workflow validation, and integration testing
- Data reconciliation and cross-system validation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infor M3/M4 environments
- Experience supporting order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, finance, manufacturing, or supply chain business processes
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Revenue Cloud, or CRM integrations
- Experience with test data management and environment management
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
- ISTQB or related testing certifications
