MSP Systems Engineer
About this role

Company Description:
Be Co is a New York based boutique MSP that handles the technology for financial services companies across the country. Our focus is primarily on RIAs (Registered Investment Advisors, aka wealth managers) who are regulated by the SEC. Be Co cares deeply about cybersecurity, compliance, and delivering thoughtful, human service to our clients.
Role Description
Because Be Co is a small MSP, you would have broad responsibilities, and real latitude in how you meet them. This would be a chance to shape the company as it grows. It also means the person who designs a system is often the person who supports it.
You'll architect client environments and answer support tickets. Our clients depend on us to deliver excellent service, and there are periods where that means long days.
This is a hybrid role. Sometimes you will be required to be on site at the client’s office to meet with them, or fix a network issue. Our clients are New York financial firms, and we present ourselves accordingly.
Business professional attire when you're in front of them. Occasional travel is involved for onsite installations outside the city.
We service multiple platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows and macOS. A deep understanding of systems administration principles will be necessary to tackle new issues in client environments. Previous experience integrating AI into client environments is a significant plus.
While Be Co is small, we leverage enterprise thinking in the management of client systems. This includes passkeys, SSO, SCIM, cybersecurity hardened MDM for both Mac and Windows endpoints, EDR, SIEM, ITDR, automated patching, PAM, DLP and RMM.
My grandfather was also an entrepreneur. He always told me to hire smarter people than myself. I’m looking for an innovative, creative problem solver.
If that’s you, then please apply.
