Job Title: Part Time/PRN Physical Therapist Location: Bayou Pines Care Center (New ownership/management as of August 1, 2024\)
Responsibilities: \- Evaluate and assess the physical therapy needs of residents in the nursing home. \- Develop individualized treatment plans to address residents' mobility, strength, and pain management goals. \- Implement and monitor physical therapy interventions to improve residents' functional abilities.
\- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for residents. \- Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans. \- Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement.
\- Stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy.
Qualifications: \- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas. \- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long\-term care facility. \- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. \- Compassionate and patient\-centered approach to care.
