Job Title: Part Time/PRN Occupational Therapist Location: Bayou Pines Care Center (New ownership/management as of August 1, 2024\)
Responsibilities: \- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in the nursing home on a part\-time basis. \- Conduct assessments to determine residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. \- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve residents' functional abilities.
\- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for residents. \- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. \- Participate in care planning meetings and provide input on residents' goals and progress.
\- Adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines related to occupational therapy services.
Qualifications: \- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas. \- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long\-term care facility. \- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \- Commitment to providing high\-quality care to residents.
