Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse - Pre-Admission Testing

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-Admission Testing team at St. Joseph's Hospital .

The RN responsibilities include:

• + Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

+ Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

+ Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

• Qualifications:
• Certifications and Licensures:
• + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

+ ACLS Certification, if required by department

+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

• Education:
• + Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

+ Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

• Experience:
• + 2 years of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in pre-admission testing is preferred.
• Specific Skills:
• + Interpersonal skills

+ Critical thinking skills

+ Clinical skills appropriate to position
