Title: RN – Registered Nurse – PACU

Position Description: RN

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital .

The RN responsibilities include:

• + Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

+ Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

+ Professional accountability and development.

+ Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.

+ Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• Qualifications:
• Certifications and Licensures:
• + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

+ ACLS Certification is required

+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

• Education:
• + Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

+ Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

• Experience:
• + 2 years of RN experience is required.
• + 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred
• Specific Skills:
• + Interpersonal skills

+ Critical thinking skills

+ Clinical skills appropriate to position
