**Position Summary**

Base\-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to support a national digital exploitation and open\-source intelligence mission in Bethesda, MD. The role provides senior systems engineering leadership across requirements analysis, architecture, integration, testing, documentation, and Agile software development team management.

Most work is performed on\-site, with limited remote work based on client requirements and deliverables.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Provide technical support, coordination, and execution of systems engineering activities, including feature and requirements analysis, design, implementation planning, integration and testing, sustainment, documentation, deployment, and system assessment.
• Perform systems engineering tasks within time\-boxed Agile sprints and releases, including sprint and release planning, work\-ticket creation or contribution, and program and system documentation.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output parameters, and hardware and software compatibility.
• Establish systems engineering processes and tools for analysis, problem diagnosis, solution design, integration and test preparation, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and related activities.
• Manage a Scrum team performing development activities across microservices and supporting system architectures.
• Lead software development team ceremonies and activities, manage risks, escalate impediments, and support continuous process improvement.

**Required Qualifications**

• Systems engineering, software development, or related experience meeting an applicable education and experience pathway in the equivalency section.
• Broad understanding of GPU\-enabled systems architecture and engineering, including GPU integration, virtualization, Multi\-Instance GPU (MIG), and associated software stacks.
• Experience creating design packages and workflows.
• Experience writing technical solutions and whitepapers.
• Experience implementing key Agile processes and techniques.
• Experience facilitating Scrum for a team, including planning, retrospectives, grooming, and reviews or demonstrations.
• Experience with GitLab workflows, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Software development or coding experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and React.
• Experience with database systems, search engines, Model\-View\-Controller (MVC), and web applications.
• Experience with Red Hat, CentOS, or Oracle Linux.
• Familiarity with DGX (Deep GPU Xceleration).
• Experience with big data applications.
• Scaled Agile Framework certification, such as SAFe Agilist or another SAFe certification.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent.

**Required Education and Experience Equivalency**

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 12\+ years in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 12\+ years of equivalent experience, with additional experience in lieu of degree.
