**Position Summary**

Base\-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's National Digital Exploitation and OSINT Center under the 10\-year DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role performs and manages systems engineering activities across requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and sustainment, while also serving as a scrum master for a software development team.

The position is primarily conducted on\-site in Bethesda, MD, with occasional remote work based on client requirements and deliverables.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Provide technical support, coordination, and execution of systems engineering activities, including feature and requirements analysis, design, implementation planning, integration and testing, sustainment, documentation, deployment, and system assessment.
• Perform systems engineering tasks within time\-boxed Agile sprints and releases, including sprint and release planning, work\-ticket creation and maintenance, and program and system documentation.
• Help define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output parameters, and hardware and software compatibility.
• Assist with establishing systems engineering processes and tools for analysis, problem diagnosis, solution design, integration and test preparation, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and related activities.
• Manage a scrum team performing development activities across microservices and supporting system architectures.
• Facilitate scrum activities, manage risks, escalate impediments, and support continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, architects, and government counterparts across technical disciplines.

**Required Qualifications**

---------------------------

• Systems engineering, software development, or related experience meeting an applicable education and experience pathway in the equivalency section.
• Broad understanding of GPU\-enabled systems architecture and engineering, including GPU integration, virtualization, Multi\-Instance GPU (MIG), and associated software stacks.
• Experience creating design packages and workflows.
• Experience writing technical solutions and whitepapers.
• Experience implementing key Agile processes and techniques.
• Experience facilitating scrum activities, including planning, retrospectives, grooming, and reviews or demos.
• Experience with Gitlab workflows, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Software development or coding experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and React.
• Experience with database systems, search engines, Model\-View\-Controller (MVC), and web applications.
• Experience in Red Hat, CentOS, or Oracle Linux environments.
• Familiarity with DGX (Deep GPU Xceleration).
• Experience with big data applications.
• Scaled Agile Framework certification, such as SAFe Agilist or other.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous development tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent.

**Required Education and Experience Equivalency**

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 12\+ years in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
