**Position Summary**

Base\-2 Solutions is seeking an Appian Software Developer/Integrator to support the design, development, deployment, and operation of a DoD\-wide Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) workflow management platform for Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).

The role supports mission\-focused requirements management, task coordination, data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities through cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cross\-domain transfer systems, and microservices.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Work with a team of systems integration engineers to deploy release candidates successfully to the production environment.
• Participate in test, staging, and production deployments.
• Integrate container\-based Appian using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and other DevOpsSec integration tools.
• Assist with the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline that includes Kafka, Elasticsearch, and internally developed Python and Java microservices running on Kubernetes.
• Monitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components.
• Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Foster collaboration among team members to provide quality service and products to the customer.

**Required Qualifications**

• Experience meeting an applicable education and prior relevant experience pathway in the equivalency section.
• Experience with Appian.
• Experience with containerization.
• Development and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience with Agile practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well on a team and independently as a self\-starter.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with systems at scale.
• Experience with Kafka or other message\-passing systems.
• Experience working on a production or enterprise system.
• Cloud infrastructure experience.
• Appian certification.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Kubernetes monitoring, including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience integrating Appian with PostgreSQL or another database.
• Experience with SALT for deployment automation.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, specifically administration experience.
• Experience with Helm and Helmfile.
• Possess at least one DoD 8570\.01\-M IAT Level II or higher certification, e.g., CCNA Security, CySA\+, Security\+ CE, SSCP, CISSP (or Associate).
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification per DoD 8570 policy.
