The Opportunity

The Barricade Company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our Field and Fleet Operations in Phoenix, Arizona.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play a key role in developing leaders, strengthening team performance, and ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently, and effectively.

We need a hands-on leader who understands that strong relationships and high expectations go hand in hand. Someone who can coach and support their team while confidently addressing challenges, making tough decisions, and holding people accountable.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily Field and Fleet Operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and operational readiness.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and other leadership personnel.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance concerns directly.
• Manage operational priorities, staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen team performance, and drive measurable results.
• Work closely with the General Manager to align operational performance with company goals.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading teams of 30-100+ employees.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, and holding supervisory or management-level direct reports accountable for performance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, earn respect, and motivate teams.
• Confidence addressing underperformance, navigating difficult conversations, and resolving conflict.
• A results-driven mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to receive direct feedback, adapt, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Experience working in demanding, fast-paced operational environments.

Leadership experience matters more than industry experience.
