Staff Accountant-Full Time

Barboursville Winery, Inc. is looking to hire a Full-Time Staff Accountant to work at the beautiful Barboursville Vineyards Estate. Primary responsibilities are managing accounts payable, overseeing and verifying weekly payroll submissions to the outside payroll vendor, providing human resource support related to employee benefit administration and new employee onboarding.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accurate recording of payroll and benefit related transactions into the general ledger and assisting the controller with year-end financial audit.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles, processes, and procedures

Basic understanding of employee benefit administration is preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
