Operations / IT Manager

Job Overview

As an Operations / IT Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day fleet dispatch operations and guide the people, systems, and projects that keep our business moving. You’ll oversee IT infrastructure, service management, and technology projects while collaborating with support services as needed to solve technical problems.

Duties

• Support daily activities of Dispatch personnel to maximize utilization of resources.
• Confer with customers, contractors and others to exchange information and resolve problems.
• Achieve mastery of the company TMS system and support its use.
• Manage server, desktop, network, and technical support, including troubleshooting across LAN, remote access, and network security.
• Lead technology project and program management, software implementation, configuration management, and vendor coordination.
• Lead and manage Safety activities, ensuring compliance by monitoring performance and intervening when necessary.
• Assist with the various systems and applications used in fleet activities.
• Maintain information security, IT governance, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery practices.

Skills

• Strong computer skills, including network systems and hardware, with broad expertise in the MS Office Suite

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
