Summary/Objective

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial based analytical support to all levels of management. This non-clinical position requires skills and experience in interpreting financial data. The Financial Analyst must support the mission of providing Sacred Work to all who enter the doors of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

Essential Job Duties

• Assists in preparing basic financial analysis for business plans that support new and expanded services and facility and equipment acquisition.
• Assists in preparation of stat and physician utilization reporting.
• Maintains and updates Cost Accounting System on a monthly basis to include analysis of costing methodologies.
• Maintains and updates productivity system on a daily basis including training for new users on functionality of system.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements by providing supporting schedules as requested.
• Prepared and distributes the daily statistics for hospital management timely and accurately.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

1-2 years is required
