Senior AI Software Developer

BajaTech is seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to build and support business-critical applications in Microsoft Azure, integrate SAP and other enterprise systems, and incorporate AI capabilities into secure, reliable software.

Location and engagement

Onsite work in Broomfield, Colorado is preferred, but the right qualifications take priority over location The target start date is before the end of 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy enterprise applications using Go and Python.
• Integrate SAP ERP and/or S/4HANA through APIs, middleware, and messaging.
• Build REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Connect LLMs and AI services with enterprise databases and business systems.
• Improve application performance, security, reliability, and observability.
• Use AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Core requirements

• Strong enterprise software development experience with Go and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and SAP integration.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills, including PostgreSQL or equivalent, plus distributed caching knowledge.
• Understanding of AI agents, tool/function calling, RAG, and AI security and governance.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, supply chain, distribution, or related industries.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Additional relevant experience

SAP BTP, Integration Suite/CPI, Redis, containers, Infrastructure as Code, and production deployment of AI-enabled applications.
