Pediatric Home Health Nurse (RN)

Seeking enthusiastic and caring nurses who will see the patient in their home. TRACH AND VENT EXPERIENCE OR OPEN TO LEARN!

Responsibilities

Provide in-home care to establish individualized care plans, re-certification, evaluation, and supervisory visits.

Develop and maintain a relationship by educating patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, individualized treatment plans and plans of care, and promoting self-advocacy and independence.

Provide skills evaluations for new staff during orientation process.

Utilize state-of-the-art technology to timely document, process and maintain all documentation in compliance with agency standards utilizing the electronic medical record keeping system.

Qualifications

• Tracheostomy/Ventilation or G-tube care experience
• Must hold an active RN license in Texas, as a Nurse.
• Must have a working knowledge of home healthcare, and the principles and techniques of professional nursing, and required documentation that pertains to it
• Should be skillful in organization, and in the principles of time management, and have knowledge of management processes
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
